As we continue to develop Legal activities, we are delighted to offer a unique opportunity to join our organization as a Junior Lawyer in Compliance&Legal Department.The position is located within our Istanbul office in Türkiye:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Assist to manage and update country records pertaining to local subsidiaries (board and shareholders’ resolutions, powers of attorneys, banking powers, corporate formalities, updating commercial registries, etc.),
• Assist to liaise with HO Legal Team to coordinate updating of corporate records and Group data base,
• Support restructuring and corporate transactions (creation, liquidation or merger of legal entities, capital increases or decreases, amendments of articles of association, joint ventures, acquisitions, etc.),
• Assist to Oversee, supervise, and review compliance with all applicable laws and with the Group’s Code of Ethics and related policies,
• Reviewing main offers and contracts,
• Assist to manage legal cases and claims in country in coordination with HO Legal Team,
• Shall perform other tasks and duties related to his/her position as assigned by his/her first line manager,
• Complies with / implements Bureau Veritas Corporate standards and BV 3 Absolutes (Safety, Ethics and Financial Control).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Law,
• Preferably has a masters degree in Commercial and Corporate Law,
• Minimum of 3 year experiences in commercial and corporate law (contract review, labour law, compliance etc.),
• Previous work experience in an International company and/or law firm experience is preferable,
• Good command of English
