Business Development Manager – Offshore Wind

 

Bureau Veritas has an exciting opportunity at to join our Renewables team as Business Development Manager for Offshore Wind.

What we are looking for:

 

Working in a fast paced, innovative market, we are looking for an established sales professional.

The role of the Business Development Manager for Offshore Wind is to promote and sell the Bureau Veritas range of services to the Offshore Wind sector across the UK and Ireland. You will engage with existing and new clients to build an opportunity pipeline in line with achievement of the sales targets that will support the delivery and revenue requirements of the business.

 

Key Attributes you will have:

  • Experience in offshore renewables sector
  • Strong sales skills with a proven track record in winning work
  • Ability to understand key customers and priorities across the UK and Ireland Wind sector
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to network
  • The ability to open opportunities across the wider BV portfolio to increase product holding and customer retention through value driven business conversations
  • Experience in building high level relationships, meeting key stakeholders, and with the ability to position at the right level and facilitate opportunities thought to wining the work
  • Ability to coordinate and write bids and tenders, ensuring quality of tenders and alignment with strategy
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ensure additional client demands are translated into agreed service improvements: identify, pursue and personally close strategically meaningful contract opportunities

 

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Experience in B2B sales
  • Demonstrable senior sales track record; with example large client accounts
  • Key Account/ Large Contract management sales experience
  • Solution driven, capable of Strategic thinking, and senior level Influencing/ Negotiation Skills.
  • Ability to manage a complex selling environment
  • High degree of executive presence; proven ability and experience to operate effectively at senior management and C-executive levels
  • High competence Excel, PowerPoint, and excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Capacity to connect internationally with people from same or adjacent market sectors
