Job Title: Technical Officer / Lead Auditor 

Location: Homebased with nationwide travel (circa 2 weeks per month)

Package: Competitive salary + £4,250 car allowance/company car + excellent benefits

About the Role

To be responsible for conducting Aerospace Technical Reviews & Offer reviews and making certification decisions that meet the requirements of appropriate/applicable accreditation standards.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Undertake Technical Reviews across core Aerospace standards for EN9100, EN9120 & EN9110 standards in accordance with internal process and external requirements identified within (9101, 9104-1, 17021).
  • Undertake Offer Reviews across core Aerospace Schemes for EN9100, EN9120 & EN9110 standards in accordance with internal process and external requirements identified within (9101, 9104-1, 17021).
  • Certification decision making, and creation of final certificates for EN9100, EN9120 & EN9110 standards.
  • Ensure the accuracy, quality and delivery of all Technical reviews and Offer reviews in line with agreed timescales and Aerospace scheme requirements.
  • Potential involvement in Internal & witness audits on behalf of the ICC.
  • Work closely with the ICC Team Members, as well as the SSC Team & Country Local Offices team and effectively communicate any constraints.
  • Support the SSC Team & Country Local Office teams, providing answers to all queries when required.
  • Undertake personal professional development and ensure appropriate training records and personal logs are updated to maintain relevant professional registration and relevant industry knowledge.

 

 

About You

 

Experience & Skills

  • Have a varied breadth of industry sector experience.
  • Broad experience of carrying out either third-party or second-party audits.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Full and valid UK driving license essential.

 

Qualifications Required:

  • Qualified to Lead Auditor Status.   
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge and experience of management system standards, compliance and auditing techniques.
  • Educated to degree level or time served in Aerospace sector.
