Job Opportunity: Financial Controller – BV Solutions

Bureau Veritas is seeking a proactive and hands-on Financial Controller to drive financial performance within our BV Solutions division, as we transition to a verticalized organizational structure.

 

As the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations across 9 legal entities and business units worldwide. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to provide strategic financial insights and ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead financial operations and reporting for a key service line within the Bureau Veritas M&O Division
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with local finance teams globally
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, offering strategic recommendations to leadership
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with Bureau Veritas policies and relevant accounting standards
  • Collaborate with global finance teams to align zone-level activities with the organization’s financial strategy
  • Provide financial guidance to operational managers, helping drive informed decision-making
  • Identify and lead initiatives to improve financial performance and operational efficiency
  • Support special projects to help fuel business growth and development

 

What You Bring to the Role:

 

  • CPA or equivalent professional accounting certification
  • 5-7 years of experience in a senior financial role, ideally in a multinational service-oriented company
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Fluency in English, with French as a plus
  • Willingness to travel within your assigned zone as needed
