Role Purpose

 

As the Account Manager for energy, you will be pivotal in managing and exceeding contract requirements for all nuclear mechanical Inspection contracts. 

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and build strong growth relationships with clients at all levels – including individual sites
  • Key point of contact for sites with regard to contractual matters, new business proposals, resolution of issues
  • Work with operational teams to resolve performance issues to deliver excellent outcomes for the customer
  • Working with sales and inspection network to grow accounts in selected new and existing business streams.
  • Responsible for invoice and revenue generation, cost and WIP management of the nuclear accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Production and monitoring of internal and contractual KPi's
  • Act as BV nuclear focal point for resolution of technical issues calling on discipline specialists as required.
  • Analyse Management Information, including the identification of Plant Inspection defect trends
  • Forward plan resource particularly for plant outages and hold regular and planned meetings with major sites to ensure both parties are clear with regard to resource requirements, forward work schedule and the resolution of operational issues
  • Project management of the various task orders - maximising revenue and profitability of each account, working closely with finance teams on a weekly basis.
  • Interact with the nuclear regulator (ONR) where appropriate.

 

Who are we looking for?

 

We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in Contract and Project Management, ideally with relevant experience in plant operations or In-Service Inspection within the nuclear sector. A solid understanding of statutory inspection regulations, particularly PSSR and LOLER, is essential.

You should have a proven track record in organizing and delivering both recurring and one-off client projects. Expertise in financial management, including invoicing and reconciliation, is also crucial.

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished project manager with the ability to multitask and perform well under pressure. Strong analytical skills, a robust administrative background, and meticulous attention to detail are key attributes for this role.
