Role: Billing Specialist 

Location: Wythenshawe - hybrid working 2 days per week from the office

Role Purpose: To proactively drive billing to internal and external clients. To work alongside Operational Teams to identify and carry out invoicing on different areas of the UK Business.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create invoices using BV systems and track against work completed in various sectors
  • Scrutinise Operational WIP files to identify billing
  • Use contract documentation and work reports to calculate billing
  • Liaise with clients to agree billing information
  • Generate billing blockage reports to circulate around Operations to drive positive cashflow
  • Create billing predictions for the business
  • Calculate and submit monthly WIP valuations to Finance Business Partners
  • Maintain accurate registers of invoices issued
  • Process approved credit notes in line with monthly calendar
  • Ensure all invoices are received by clients
  • Assist Credit Control with query investigation as needed
  • Create invoicing contracts
  • Create and maintain user guides

 

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Ability to process high volumes of transactions with speed and accuracy.
  • Experience in invoicing/finance.
  • Good organisation skills with effective time management.
  • Effective communicator, both verbal and written to peers, clients and senior managers.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Intermediate excel skills.
