Recruitment Business Partner 

Manchester (2 office days per week)

 

We are looking for an experienced recruiter to join our UK recruitment team in attracting a dynamic and diverse mix of talent that will enable Bureau Veritas to deliver our ongoing growth strategy.

We are looking for someone who has the autonomy to quickly become a key business partner to their stakeholders, offering advice on best practice and defining a sourcing strategy to deliver the end-to-end recruitment processes across their own portfolio.

You will proactively drive the number of vacancies down across the business, seek out innovative ways to attract the best possible calibre of candidates and offer an exceptional candidate experience. You will also act as a brand ambassador, embodying the Bureau Veritas values and promoting our culture and reputation.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Facilitate the Recruitment process from start to end, screen applicants, submit qualified candidates to the appropriate hiring managers, interview candidates, and coordinate the offer process
  • Develop and cultivate excellent working relationships with major stakeholders to build in-depth understanding of business drivers
  • Lead and co-ordinate end-to-end recruitment service to the business, including being accountable for proactively communicating and updating key stakeholders
  • Act as a single point of contact from the Recruitment team for relevant Business Area Executives, HRBPs and escalation point for hiring managers.
  • Maintain relationships with senior candidates to build competitor insight and secure referrals.
  • Consult with the business to create targeted attraction strategies for relevant business area based on the business drivers/strategy, research and analysis
  • Ensure we have the right suppliers on the right commercial terms working in partnership to deliver the right talent
  • Champion equality and diversity; develop strategy and tactics to establish BV as an employer of choice
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the market drivers for the relevant business areas
  • Work closely with HRBPs and Business Area hiring managers/executives to provide Resourcing expertise on strategic projects
  • Create and manage selection materials such assessment centre tasks and competency-based interviews
  • Continually drive the cost of recruitment down wherever possible in all sections of the business
  • Challenge hiring managers to ensure recruitment best practice is followed and policies and processes are adhered to consistently

 

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with a proven track record in volume recruitment, and experience sourcing candidates from a variety of sources (job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, military partnerships etc.)

You will have depth and breadth of experience working as a recruitment partner from designing and managing recruitment campaigns to enhancing EVP. You will need strong relationship building skills, and the confidence and ability to challenge senior management where necessary, always acting aligned with Bureau Veritas’ values.

You will need to be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and demonstrate calm and objectivity when under pressure.
