CDM Consultant  

Location: Midlands/ South East - Travel expected 

Bureau Veritas is a global leader in quality assurance and risk management services, providing high-quality solutions to clients across multiple sectors.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CDM Consultant to join our team and provide exceptional Construction (Design and Management) and associated Consultancy services. You will play a vital role in helping our clients and project teams navigate CDM regulations effectively, mitigate risks, and ensure the safety and compliance of structures throughout their design and construction phases.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • CDM Principal Designer/Principal Designer Advisor Services: Provide expert advice and support to clients on design and construction projects, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.
  • CDM Client Advisor Services: Offer consultancy to clients, assisting them in fulfilling their obligations under CDM regulations.
  • Site Safety Audits and Inspections: Conduct safety audits and site inspections to ensure compliance and identify potential risks.
  • CDM Risk Reviews: Review and assess the risk management processes and ensure that the design, construction, and foreseeable risks are appropriately mitigated.
  • Associated Health and Safety Services: Provide additional health and safety services as required, in line with your competency and project needs.

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • A strong background in CDM Consultancy and a deep understanding of construction safety regulations.
  • Experience in providing CDM Principal Designer/Advisor and Client Advisor services.
  • A proactive approach to risk management and safety, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Relevant qualifications and membership of professional bodies such as APS (Association for Project Safety) or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
