Job Title: Inspection Supervisor (Metals & Minerals Division)
Location: UK & Europe (Site-based across multiple locations)
Hours: Flexible working hours, based on operational needs

 

Role Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Inspection Supervisor to join our UK Inspections team. This role involves supervising and/or carrying out the inspection, weighing, and sampling of various commodities to pre-defined standards, using appropriate methods. The position is site-based across various locations within the UK and Europe, offering flexible working hours to meet operational demands.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
As an integral member of the UK Inspection team, reporting to the UK Inspections Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and/or performing inspections, weighing, and sampling of commodities within the Metals and Minerals division.
  • Conducting various audits within the Metals and Minerals commodity industries.
  • Preparing accurate, detailed, and timely reports on the work undertaken.
  • Liaising closely with the UK Inspection coordination team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with company quality systems and Health & Safety protocols at all times.

 

Key Deliverables:

  • Deliver exceptional service to clients by providing detailed reports covering the scope of works.
  • Meet and exceed quality key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure full adherence to quality systems and health and safety protocols.
  • Provide insights and updates to the coordination team regarding site-specific conditions.
  • Contribute to process improvements for enhanced operational efficiency.

 

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Educated to A level standard (or equivalent experience/qualification).
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships within departments and with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, ensuring top-quality service delivery.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to manage disputes effectively.
  • Solid problem-solving capabilities and a keen eye for resolving challenges.
  • Full, clean driving license and valid passport (required for site travel).
