🔧 About the Role

As a key member of our Structural Engineering division, you will:

  • Carry out structural inspections, condition assessments, and technical design audits
  • Review and appraise structural risks across a wide range of building projects
  • Manage day‑to‑day project delivery and attend client and design team meetings
  • Produce clear, high‑quality technical reports
  • Stay up to date with developments in structural engineering standards and best practice
  • Support senior leadership in developing new business opportunities
  • This role offers the chance to work independently and collaboratively, with exposure to both new construction and existing building assessments.

🧠 Experience & Skills We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in civil and structural engineering
  • Experience in structural inspections and structural design
  • Knowledge of steel, concrete, and masonry design to British Standards and Eurocodes
  • High‑rise building design experience (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and technical report‑writing skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Passion for engineering quality, innovation, and continuous improvement

 

 

🎓 Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Chartered status (CEng) with ICE or IStructE
  • Membership of a relevant professional institution
