Job Title: Senior Asset Verification Estimator (HVAC–SFG20)

Location: Homebased with nationwide travel - must be UK based

About the role 

As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical face to face client role in supporting our Asset Verifcation Business here in the UK&I and across Europe where required, by preparing accurate and competitive estimates for our Facilities (FM) HVAC- SFG20 clients. This will be fully client engaged role and will be working across multiple client sites. You will ensure all estimates are aligned with HVAC- SFG20 standards and tailored to client-specific requirements. This role will require travel to various clients’ sites across the UK&I and the occasional European trips to conduct surveys and Asset assessments. Base Line Security Clearances will be required.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Site surveys and technical assessments to gather data for accurate estimating. Work with our customers, key internal stakeholders to provide them with accurate pricing models. Drive the Asset Verification Business forwards by supporting and growing our works streams by looking for new opportunities across our portfolios of new and existing clients.
  • Interpret and extract data from HVAC documentation, specifications, and asset registers to develop detailed cost estimates for using multiple Bureau Veritas Business units and service lines
  • Apply SFG20 Asset maintenance standards to create compliant PPM pricing schedules and cost models for ourselves and our clients.
  • Work to drive cleanse data with the Asset Integrity Surveyors teams to support our customers project requirements. Work with the Surveyors Using our Own ASSET CALC Asset Collection software.
  • Utilise as many Internal BU departments as possible to provide Multi service lines proposals to our clients to increase our customer presence
  • Collaborate with FM operations, engineering, and commercial teams to align estimates with delivery capabilities. (Both Internal and External stakeholders)
  • Liaise with Asset Team Stakeholders and Non-Exclusive to obtain competitive pricing and technical input.
  • Prepare and present tender documentation, including cost breakdowns (AD-50) risk and value engineer options.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC technologies, SFG20 updates, and market trends.
  • Support bid submissions and client presentations as required.

 

Experience & Skills Required

  • Proven experience in HVAC estimating within a Facilities Management or Building Services environment.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of SFG20 standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and maintenance schedules.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Full UK driving licensee and willingness to travel nationwide.
  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent (HNC/HND/Degree preferred)
