LDAP Engineer – Linux

Location – France / UK / Spain / Belgium – Remote based role.

Remuneration - £45-50,000 (55-60 Euro) + 10% annual bonus

 

You will work in a large group project aimed at modernising the authentication system and the life cycle of user accounts in the company. This is a great opportunity to influence the direction of an enterprise level organization in the following: 

 

  • Modernization of Access Management with the implementation of a single sign-on SAAS platform on the group's applications, implementation of a second authentication factor, User self-service on the management of his word outmoded.
  • Modernization of IDM provisioning and checkout processes for user accounts, Management of requests for access to resources and self-service applications with validation process.
  • Mapping of roles and professions in the company for the provision of resources and applications according to profiles.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure the daily life of the identity provisioning process based on the corporate LDAP directory.
  • Take charge of key projects.
  • Define and write installation procedures and best practices.
  • Create scripts (python, bash) and plugins for automation and orchestration.
  • Participate in the implementation on the pre-production and production platforms.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams on projects and studies carried out by the team.
  • Work with teammate on build topics like AWS migration Identity Tools, or diagnostic tools

 

Key projects include:

 

  • Be part of the project team that will implement the new IAM tool of the VERITAS group: IDaaS project
    • This project, composed of three modules, will include an access management and customer identity and access management component with the SAAS solution OneLogin. The Identity Management component will be deployed via the SAAS solution Savynt

 

  • Participate in the Move to Cloud strategy of the BureauVeritas group with the migration from LDAP On Prem to SAAS hosting

 

Key skills and experience:

 

  • Identity and Access Management
  • Users Lifecycle Management
  • French is desirable but not essential
  • LDAP System engineer
  • Scripting knowledge (Perl, Python, PowerShell)
  • LDAP and SQL databases
  • Linux systems
  • Network knowledge
