Role Purpose

Bureau Veritas is a multinational group with capabilities in an extensive range of commodities, providing independent inspection, sampling and testing services 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

As a Purchasing Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Raise purchase orders in accordance with MRP requirements
  • Maintain inventory levels
  • Maintain supplier and price files
  • Match invoice and delivery notes
  • Process invoices on BV system
  • Process purchase requisitions in accordance with sign off matrix
  • Expedite order acknowledgements
  • Sourcing new parts and suppliers
  • Raising payment requests
  • Monitor maintenance contracts

  • Excellent attention to detail – able to follow precise details
  • Good communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Flexible and able to work around workload demands
  • Experience as Purchasing Administrator or similar preferred
