The Appraisal Services Account Executive is an outside sales role whose function is to prospect for new clients, travel to and present to prospective clients, sign on new accounts, assist in growing existing accounts through initiating and managing existing relationships. Account Executive will assist in providing reports, as well as market and competitive research for the sales team.  Additionally, this role will provide customer support regarding products and services Quiktrak offers and provide supplemental administrative support to the Sales team to assist in gaining overall knowledge of the appraisal services industry. The ideal candidate will have a background in Appraisal Services as well as outside sales.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Cultivate a strong understanding of the Appraisal Services Quiktrak provides and educate prospective and current clients on these services to better meet client needs
  •     Make sales calls to prospective and existing clients
  •     National travel to meet with prospective and current clients
  •     Identify and prioritize prospective clients
  •     Execute sales process from initial contact to close
  •     Explore new market potential and present these opportunities to executive team
  •     Work with sales and executive team to execute business development strategy
  • Develop short- and long-term sales forecasts to achieve assigned sales targets
  • Record and track potential clients for future sales and marketing initiatives
  • Source competitive and market data to help determine future decisions
  • Work with operations team to onboard new users to the system and train new clients on use of the system
  • Field calls from existing clients and work with the internal teams to provide feedback to the client
  • Speak with prospective clients and discuss our services, follow up with appropriate marketing materials
  • Update existing contacts, add new contacts, along with the supervisors to client info in the system of record, and communicate credentials and changes to clients
  • Assist with internal projects needed to help Quiktrak and Sales
  • Conform to and participate in the requirements of our Quality and Information Security Management systems

 

Job Conditions:

Job conditions include heavy telephone usage and extensive computer work. Travel to and from client’s offices is required (once travel conditions become safe again). Work is performed in a fast-paced environment.  Job requires the ability to work in a team environment with close attention to detail; communicate effectively including active listening and problem-solving skills; organize and prioritize work assignments; maintain effective working relationships; work independently with only general direction; handle and meet multiple deadlines; and read, write, and speak English at an acceptable level to perform job functions.

 

Specific Job Skills and Requirements:

  • Communicate effectively with staff, sales team members and Senior Management
  • Ability to function as a team player
  • Must use Salesforce to log all calls, all activity and track client performance.
  • Excellent verbal presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written communication skills

Education and Experience Requirement:

  • Appraisal services and/or residential/commercial mortgage lending experience strongly preferred
  • Customer service/relations experience preferred
  • Outside Sales experience
  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience

 

Mental and Physical Requirements:

Mental activities required include continuous interpersonal interactions, problem solving for others, task handling, and frequently using decision-making and creativity skills.

Physical activities required include continuous sitting, typing, listening, and frequent talking.
