Position Schedule: M-F (First Shift)

 

What You'll Do:

 

  • Perform structural, functional, and metrology evaluations using Instron/MTS and other test equipment
  • Operate Tensile/Compression testing equipment, automation & electronics testing equipment
  • Use oscilloscopes, function generators, digital multi-meters, Statistical software (e.g.: Minitab), & other test equipment for electrical measurements
  • Collaborate with other team members to summarize data in a report format relaying test details to appropriate personnel in a timely and accurate manner
  • Contribute to planning of studies, conducting, and performing experiments
  • Assist with testing in the animal tissue lab
  • Communicate with the client(s) for clarification ensuring accurate results and customer-satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned

 

What You'll Need:

 

  • Associate degree in mechanical engineering/related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Previous experience with Tensile/Compression/Strength testing (Instron/MTS) preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot and communicate findings to Engineers and team members
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent understanding of engineering concepts (mechanisms, fixtures, tooling, etc.)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Must possess strong ability to work well under pressure meeting deadlines in an ever-changing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer-service focused
  • Detail-oriented and great organizational skills a must
