Position Key Responsibility Summary:

  • Perform estimating for renewable energy projects (wind, solar, battery storage, transmission)
  • Perform quantity take-offs
  • Project budget analysis
  • Participate in design, project evaluation, studies, value engineering, scheduling, and constructability reviews
  • Prepare and manage RFPs through life of process
  • Provides support to Business Development team as necessary to maintain relationships with existing client base
  • Conduct site visits as necessary
  • Support the Bradley project teams with design and estimates as needed
  • Communicates with owners, engineers, suppliers, and consultants to clarify scope of work, materials, and schedule requirements
  • Attend preconstruction meeting with engineers and clients and drive preconstruction progress as set forth by the preconstruction schedule
  • Keeps accurate meeting notes at all meetings
  • Manages scope development and scope analysis
  • Coordinate estimating and maintain the entire bid management process with specific bid tabs, bidder list, subcontractor requests for proposal and assist with developing final proposal to be submitted to client

 

Qualifications:

  • College Degree
  • 3-5 Years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in the Renewable Energy Industry a must (wind, solar, battery storage, transmission)
  • Project Management or Construction Management experience a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Attention to detail
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS-Excel, Word, MS-Project, Outlook, and Bluebeam Revu (or similar)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to exercise sound independent judgment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects or tasks
