Business Controller, Environmental and AgriFood
 

Financial Planning and Analysis:

· Manage the regional financial planning and budgeting processes, annual operating plans, and forecasts.

· Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide insights and recommendations to optimize performance and achieve financial targets.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial goals and operational strategies.

Financial Reporting and Control:

· Prepare accurate and timely management reports, highlighting key company KPIs, trends, and areas for improvement.

· Maintain and follow all internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting policies.

· Conduct periodic financial reviews to identify areas of risk and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Business Partnership and Decision Support:

· Act as a trusted advisor to the region's leadership team, providing financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to drive business growth and profitability.

· Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to evaluate investment opportunities, new business initiatives, and strategic projects, providing financial modeling and cost-benefit analysis.

Process Improvement and Efficiency:

· Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations within the region.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and automation tools to enhance financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting capabilities.

· Develop and implement standardized financial policies, procedures, and guidelines across the region.

Team Leadership and Development:

· Lead a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback.

· Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.

· Identify training and development needs and provide opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement.

Requirements: 

Bachelor's degree required, with a concentration in one of the following disciplines: Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field

Active CPA License

MBA or other graduate degree in Finance related field, preferred

8+ years in a finance role, of which at least 4 years as Business Controller

Demonstrated success in financial modeling and analysis

Experience with financial planning and analysis functions, including annual budget, capital budgeting
