Structural Designer

The Structural Designer will assist Project Engineers and Project Managers in the comprehensive structural design of a large variety of building types and structural systems.  The Structural Designer will work on design for both new construction and building retrofits.  The Structural Designer will also work on research for next generation design and analysis methods related to projects.  The Structural Designer will actively participate in the construction administration phase of projects.

The Structural Designer should have the following capabilities and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in all phases of building design is required.
  • Good knowledge of Revit, RAM, RISA, and ETABs is preferred.
  • Professional Engineering License and/or Engineer-In-Training (EIT) is preferred.
  • DSA experience is preferred.
  • Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curious and open minded to learn and assume increased responsibilities.
  • Committed to building a long-term professional career.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as with a team.
