Bureau Veritas is looking for a

 

Material Handler – Archiving & Warehouse Dept.

 

As a Material Handler, your responsibilities are:

 

  • Archive, Dispose and Retrieve samples as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Employs proper lab techniques to minimize risk of miss-scanning and loss of sample.
  • Process email and phone call requests as required
  • Facilitate the receipt, recording, handling and distribution of all inbound/outbound material/supplies in accordance with SOP.
  • Follow all laboratory safety rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for ensuring that good and safe house keeping standards are followed, enforced and sustained at all times. Maintain your work area in a clean, safe and an organized manner.
  • Provide support to other members of the section.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor.

 

 

You are an ideal Material Handler if you have [Minimum Requirements]:

 

  • Minimum high school education.
  • Need to perform repetitive physical work as required and according to deadlines established by the supervisor. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good record keeping skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately follow instructions.
  • Comfortable working with a computer.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities and tight timelines.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50Lbs.

All candidates must be flexible to any shift changes as well as weekends
