The project manager contributes, through the personalized service he/she provides, to the quality service offered to the clients and thus to the organization’s objectives.  Acting as the intermediary between the clients and the laboratory, the Project Manager ensures the satisfaction of the clients in regards to the services offered.  The project manager is the key client relation contact that is critical to development of true client loyalty.


Your main responsibilities are:


  • Develop client relations through the provision of top notch client services;
  • promote BV’s  environmental laboratory service offerings and to provide exceptional customer-focused support so as to grow market share and increase brand loyalty;
  • Provide consultative recommendations and expert technical advice to the customer base;
  • Responsible for the maintenance, the growth and the development of client accounts;
  • Key liaison between the client, the laboratory, and senior Bureau Veritas management.  Collaborate with the senior management staff to ensure customer feedback is heard and acted upon;
  • Document and get closure to all client inquiries via the usage and escalation systems at BV;
  • Active assistance with the sales team in the development and execution of the regional sales strategies;
  •  Development of actual and potential clients through active participation in new account identification, and regular account reviews of all actual clients;
  • Assist with the preparation of correspondence and reports for technical analytical data review, financial/marketing information, and other related documentation;
  • Develop and train newly hired project managers;
  • Work with accounting staff to facilitate discussions on client account payment habits; assist with collection of monies owed;
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulation;
  • Adhere to and participate with all QA\QC policies of the organization to ensure Quality Standards are maintained;
  • Provide client feedback to the Bureau Veritas management;
  • Drive brand awareness and represent Bureau Vertias by being an ambassador of the brand and values at conferences, workshops, trade association meetings and other industry networking events, and through the various social media platforms;


You are the ideal candidate if:


  • Fully bilingual ( spoken and English) in French and English
  • B. Sc. or its equivalence with at least 2 years’ experience in the environmental laboratory industry;
  • Environmental  knowledge and all other related industry  experience is an asset;
  • You must possess excellent computer skills;
  • You have ability to build relationships and to work closely with diverse groups of individuals;  
  • You must possess excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills;
  • You must  be able to work independently while being organized, detail-oriented, and focused;
  • Must be able to work  within tight deadlines associated with meeting customer deadlines and timeframes;
  • Represents the Bureau Veritas values and is at all times professional;
  • Must have a leadership personality and act as role model to junior project management staff.


Working Conditions


  • This position is a hybrid “Work from home” with occasional “work from office” requirements;
  • Applicant should be willing to work extended hours (or flex hours) as deemed necessary as in order to achieve targeted budgetary and strategic objectives.
