General Summary:

The Director of Sales develops and executes sales tactics and strategies for Quiktrak services and solutions in conjunction with the CCO.  Trains, develops, and manages staff in a manner that helps build an outstanding sales organization that is capable and motivated to meet and exceed bookings and revenue objectives.  This candidate will have experience in selling solutions with a consultative engagement model involving a number of resources both in his/her direct and indirect control.  The successful candidate will be tactical in the hands-on execution of our sales strategy as well as a visionary who can grow and evolve a sales organization domestically via multiple sales channels. The Director of Sales will report to the Chief Customer Officer.

  • Establishes and manages effective systematic sales strategies, programs, and proactively develops competitive strategies to ensure a continual flow of opportunities through the “sales funnel” and maximum revenue growth for all company products, solutions and services.
  • Accountable for managing the sales methodologies, processes, procedures, systems and schedules that will ensure delivery of a consistent stream of predictable revenue through new and renewal customer agreements. 
  • Provides compelling representation of Company’s technology, products, and technical team to external constituents
  • Helps guide product strategy, development and marketing decisions to drive and maximize company revenues.
  • Drive new strategic partnerships
  • Generate new business through networking and sales calls
  • Work with sales and executive teams to execute business development strategy
  • Identify and prioritize prospective clients
  • Manage sales process from initial contact to close
  • Monitor and report on activities to provide relevant management information
  • Ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs (ISO 9001:2015)
  • Reporting on the performance of the Quality Management System and on opportunities for improvement in particular to top management (ISO 9001:2015)
  • Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization (ISO 9001:2015)
  • Ensuring that the integrity of the Quality Management System is maintained when changes to the QMS are planned and implemented.  (ISO 9001:2015)

                                                                                        

  • Ensuring that the information security management system conforms to the requirements of this International Standard (ISO27001:2013)
  • Reporting on the performance of the information security management system to top management (ISO27001:2013)
  • Reporting on the performance of the Occupational Health and Safety Management system to top management (ISO45001:2018)
  • Conforming to and participating in the requirements of the Environmental Management system (ISO14001:2015)
  • Reporting on the performance of the Environmental Management system (ISO14001:2015)

 

Work Environment:

Environment and physical requirements of the position, as necessary

Ability to travel about 50%

 

 

Technical Knowledge:

Knowledge of inspection or floorplan audit technology ideal.

Proficient in Microsoft suite:  Word, XL, Powerpoint necessary.

 

 

Specific Job Skills and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience managing sales for commercially viable financial services products, solutions, services and software solutions, with five years’ experience in a sales leadership role. Ideally, candidate has wholesale lending, inspection services or floorplan finance industry experience in a sales leadership capacity.
  • Proven abilities in solution selling to senior-level executives in Fortune 1000 with longer, complex sales cycles.  Has track record of developing unique solutions to client’s needs and/or managing complex and large scale revenue relationships. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in delivering successful results through domestic sales of software products via multiple sales channels.
  • Demonstrated proficiency developing short term and long term vision and strategies to achieve targeted sales objectives in fast paced and diverse marketplace.  
  • Effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills, including making presentations before diverse business development teams and executive management.  Effective presentation skills in both group and individual settings.
  • High comfort level with technology, software and spreadsheets, including use of sales CRM’s such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce as well as online meeting tools.  Agile learner.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, sales or marketing or the equivalent combination of related training, proficiency and experience.
