Your main responsibilities are:


  • Management of all sample placement, archiving, retrieval and disposal


  • Maintain all coldrooms in order and clean


  • Daily placement of all samples according to numerical order of job numbers


  • Daily disposal of samples that have reached their disposal date


  • Retrieving samples that are in storage for additional analyses


  • Follow the Standard Operating Procedure established by Bureau Veritas Laboratories for the archiving and disposal of samples


  • Monitor and record temperatures of coldrooms and sample entry fridges daily in logbooks or system


  • Maintenance and organisation of the back warehouse section, keep all corridors clear


  • Help and assist clerks at the reception of merchandise and preparation of orders


  • Maintenance and snow removal of the main entrances and emergency exits during the winter period


  • Work closely with laboratory staff and the customer service department


  • All other responsibilities assigned by supervisor or manager




You are the ideal candidate if:


  • Position available Full Time and Part Time


  • Highschool diploma and / or equivalence


  • Experience in laboratory is an asset


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


  • Good time-management, communication, multi-tasking and priority setting skills


  • Work both independently and as part of a team


  • Positive attitude and ability to work in an environment where the activities take place at a rapid pace


  • Learns quickly


  • Have good computer skills
