Position Overview
The Marketing Lead for Renewable Energy Technical Advisory Services will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies to promote our renewable energy products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of both marketing and the renewable energy sector, globally and in North America, as well as a proven track record of leading successful campaigns that effectively engage and educate key stakeholders—including customers, financial institutions, investors, partners, and the general public. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, creative vision, and the ability to drive growth through innovative digital and traditional marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with company objectives, drive brand awareness, and position ArcVera and Bureau Veritas technical advisory as a leader in the renewable energy space.
- Content Creation & Campaign Management: Lead the creation and execution of compelling marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, events) to educate and engage target audiences.
- Brand Development: Oversee the development and maintenance of a consistent and impactful brand identity that reflects the company’s mission, vision, and values.
- Aid and train team members in North America, interacting with relevant staff in BV-NAM, and global country-based and regionally-based Bureau Veritas marketing and sales teams in
- need of guidance to expand global capacity and ability to communicate technical advisory services value proposition to clients to accelerate growth
- Lead Generation & Customer Acquisition: Collaborate with the business development and sales team, including technical advisory staff that regularly interact with clients, to create effective lead generation campaigns, including inbound marketing tactics, to drive customer acquisition and expand our market share.
- Market Research & Insights: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Use insights to inform strategic decision-making and optimize marketing efforts.
- Digital Marketing Strategy: Oversee digital marketing channels such as SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media. Leverage analytics tools to track performance, optimize campaigns, and improve ROI.
- Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with key stakeholders including industry associations, government agencies, and other renewable energy organizations to enhance brand visibility and strengthen partnerships.
- Public Relations & Thought Leadership: Manage media relations and create thought leadership content (e.g., blogs, white papers, press releases) to position the company as an expert in the renewable energy technical advisory sector.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members while driving performance and development.
- The successful candidate will be an ArcVera Renewables Leadership Team member, directing all strategic and operational marketing and customer relationship activities.
- Participates in company strategic planning initiatives and provides market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs, and generating business development ideas.
- Initiates new or modified product ideas and pricing strategies, including e-commerce. Internally manages teams to develop plans to expand new and existing service categories.
- Management of marketing functions; prepares internal presentations highlighting and meeting or exceeding quantifiable key performance indicators to internal audiences.
- Responsibilities include team development, annual review, and goal setting for assigned business development and marketing personnel reports.
- Establishes and maintains key performance indicators for the business, e.g., analysis of opportunity win/loss data and other performance data metrics, including arcvera.com website traffic using Google Analytics.
- Develops and manages productive, cost-effective professional relationships with third-party marketing support vendors (e.g., public relations firms, copywriters, web graphic designers) to execute marketing project initiatives such as website content, press releases, marketing collateral, and exhibition display materials.
- Develops and coordinates trade event marketing
- Ability to travel up to 10 times per year nationally and 2 times per year internationally, as required
- Works independently and with teams; initiates and maintains regular information exchange and interaction with senior leadership;
- Working with ArcVera leadership, defining and managing annual business development budgets and effective deployment of allocated budget.
- Drive revenue and profit growth to achieve the Company's growth targets of at least matching and better exceeding global wind and solar energy growth rates as reported by the Global Wind Energy Council and other trade and industry information sources (e.g., Solar Energy Industries Association, Wood-Mackenzie, etc.).
- Plans and coordinates the implementation of business plans to drive service categories development and the penetration of new markets.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have suitable renewable energy technical and commercial experience in technical consulting that combines support and drives forward new and existing client development.
- Experience in working with senior management to align business development strategies and solutions.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various audiences, and to prepare draft white papers, presentations, and industry gathering classroom or educational materials
- Strong knowledge of the purpose and experience using common customer relationship management platforms; will ensure proper use of and take advantage of the existing CRM platform (SalesForce)
- Advanced ability to analyze internal and external market information using spreadsheet tools; develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor company performance.
- Experience identifying, defining, and improving mission-critical processes to support team- based client account development and management.
- Must have experience working remotely and visiting clients in a corporate, business-focused environment.
- Excellent negotiation skills and a proven track record of successfully pitching for new business.
- Develop and manage processes that support a rapid (generally day-of and under 24-hour response) to the inbound and prospective client interest.
- Proven track record of increasing revenue through lead generation tactics.

Key Performance Indicators:
- Drive revenue growth, achieving year-over-year revenue growth better than annual industry growth rates per company strategic planning and annual tactical goals.
- Quantified volume of new and existing client outreach by different communication methods, and quantified number and volume of proposals generated monthly.
- Routinely polls clients to improve company services and performance, and to respond to evolving customer needs
- Execute effective and sufficient marketing initiatives, including targeted ad campaigns using trade media, white papers, and professional social media platforms like LinkedIn.
- Develops new content for the ArcVera Renewables transition to the Bureau Veritas website and responds to specific strategies - monitors, and reports on website visitor traffic using Google Analytics.
- Practices continuous improvement initiatives; identifies and defines repeatable processes to build best practices and efficiencies in the organization.
- Schedules and tracks regular meetings with clients and prospects to maintain existing and build new customer relationships.
- Accelerates and tracks the volume of active clients to drive growth; lands strategic account development opportunities.
- Maintain and complete yearly and as-needed updates to the ArcVera Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) and a subset of category-specific services’ marketing collateral.
