Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Provide complete plan reviews of commercial, industrial and residential buildings for compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Experienced plan reviewer is required with experience in all disciplines including Architechtural, ADA, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing.

May provide majority of the structural plan reviews of wood framed commercial, industrial, and residential buildings for compliance with applicable codes and standards and engineering principals.  

Prepare written plan review correspondence and update information into various computer software programs.

Explain and answer client questions regarding generated plan review letters.

Have experience and knowledge of how to perform electronic plan review.  

May interact directly with clients and their staff.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum high school degree required and current ICC Plans Examiner certification preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the ICC and applicable local codes.
  • Background in engineering and Professional Civil Engineering Licenese preferred but not requried.
