SUMMARY:  Overseas day-to-day operations of local division.

SEES ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following:  Other duties may be assigned as necessary. 

Maintains 24-hour on-call status in order to complete below supervisory responsibilities.

Completes job files from an operational perspective (Nomination coordination, client updates, final outturns, gain/loss reconciliation)

Coordinates field personnel day-to-day assignments ensuring tasks are covered per client requirements.

Maintains all quality related records for operations, administrative and field operations to ensure compliance to company quality process and ISO 9002 standards.

Liaisons with laboratory manager to ensure customers requirements are met in a timely manner.

Maintains field supply inventory.

Assist with fieldwork when needed.

Problem solves and assists clients.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises non-exempt employees – (Administrative staff, field staff).

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies applicable laws. 


OPERATIONS MANAGER


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and /or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and previous experience as an Inspector and Dispatcher.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Drivers license required.

OPERATIONS MANAGER


The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
