Scheduler (SCHED) will organize and oversee efficient field execution of assigned inspectors.  A key success factor will be the ability to prioritize national accounts while minimizing delinquent accounts.  Sched’s need to form strong working relationships with the inspector as well as the maintenance companies that support tests.  This requires the ability to be forceful in demanding action but in a tone which strengthens internal and external relationships. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Office Responsibilities
    • Proactively communicate with client, maintenance companies and inspectors
    • Review open work and efficiently assign and schedule
    • Address and prioritize national and past due inspections
    • Tenaciously push for maintenance company support and escalate problems
    • Provide weekly schedule to inspectors

 

  • Customer Support Function
    • Respond to customer and jurisdiction inquiries and requests
    • Respond to inspector inquiries, requests, and assist with WOM
    • Communicate with several elevator companies to schedule inspections
    • Create spreadsheet of monthly inspections to provide to elevator companies

 

 

Requirements:

  • Strong ability to organize and prioritize work schedules
  • Ability to organize and geographically route work efficiently
  • Computer skills which include Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and be part of a team
