  • The responsibility for the verification testing of various cellular-connected devices, including cellular phones and IoT products via simulated chamber (anechoic) networks.
  • Test plan/specification CTA Test Plan Over the Air Antenna performance, 3GPP for both active and passive measurements.
  • Preparation of precise test report and the important customer interface. 
  • Work closely with the engineering teams and interact with the customers’ needs and requirements.
  • Identification issues and debug via test campaigns. 
  • Customer transparency for device issues and reporting.
  • Closely interact with project managers, engineering, operations, and sales to ensure the effective delivery of service. 
  • Understanding of antenna basics, or background experience to quickly gain experience within this technical field. 

Major Roles & Responsibilities

  • Schedule work to ensure that Turn-Around-Times (TAT) for all submissions, whether entered on a regular or rush basis, are maintained within standards.
  • Interact with other operations supervisors and managers on a daily basis, holding on-going discussions regarding test methods and adherence to standards and quality in accordance with industry, association and internal Bureau Veritas requirements.
  • Participate in the implementation of new business to ensure a seamless start-up.
  • Work with global counterparts in assigned Service Line in the development and implementation of related test methods and test packages to meet client expectations at the site. 
  • Maintain a high level of technical competence and understanding through continual reading and review of various publications and other sources of technical information, including associations i.e. CTIA, 3GPP. 
  • Understanding of antenna basics, or background experience to quickly gain experience within this technical field.

Experience and Educational Background Required:

Engineer II:

  • 4 year degree in a technical/engineering discipline and up to 2 years related experience; or
  • 2 year degree in a technical/engineering discipline and 3-4 years related experience
