Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying strategic port & terminal prospects and projects.
  • Mapping the country’s ports & terminals market, stakeholders and strategic action plans, and taking actions.
  • Developing services related to CAPEX – new assets acquisition inspection, design review, procurement assistance etc.
  • Developing services related to OPEX – In-service cranes/tanks/equipment – asset integrity, NDT, asset lifecycle extension, reliability etc.
  • Be the focal point representing country in identified trade shows, events, conferences related to ports & terminals, as speaker or visitor to exhibitions, to generate leads and relationships building.
  • Identifying opportunities for cross selling – Wharf expansion, reclamation, green terminal certification, sustainability services.
  • Leads the relationship building with port operators, investors, technical team; being the first to gather information for scoping, influencing TOR and RFP contents. – Key Account Management.
  • Preparing qualifications packages, proposal packages and presentations, with the collaboration with operations, technical, back office and regional team.
  • Monitoring the sales pipeline for and ensure it is up to date.
  • Closing the contract and handover to operations.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor in technical/engineering degree or in B2B Marketing/Sales will be preferred.
  • At least Seven (7) years in sales/marketing and business development management level, experience in Ports & Terminal industry is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute business planning processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of general business and company procedures.
  • Understanding of Port Crane and Tank standards is a plus.

Technical and professional skills

  • Fluent in English, any other added language is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and providing innovative and impactful insights through data analysis
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft environment, knowledge on Salesforce is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • High Ethics.
