The Opportunity
Bureau Veritas is seeking expressions of interest for a range of exciting opportunities supporting a major Renewable Energy Project based in Newcastle NSW.
This project will contribute to Australia's clean energy future through the construction and delivery of critical battery storage infrastructure, including transformers, inverters and associated electrical and civil assets. Working alongside experienced project leaders, engineers and inspectors, you'll play a key role in ensuring quality, safety and project excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Depending on the position, responsibilities may include:
- Supporting the delivery of a major renewable energy infrastructure project from construction through to commissioning
- Conducting quality inspections, audits and surveillance activities across site operations
- Monitoring compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and industry standards
- Reviewing inspection records, quality documentation and project deliverables
- Assisting with quality assurance, quality control and continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting electrical, civil and construction activities across the project lifecycle
- Identifying non-conformances and contributing to corrective actions and issue resolution
- Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture across all project activities
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, contractors and client representatives
- Contributing to the successful delivery of safe, high-quality renewable energy infrastructure
- Undertaking site-based activities while adhering to all safety, PPE and environmental requirements
About You
- To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Quality, Materials Science, Safety or a related discipline (preferred)
- Experience within renewable energy, construction, infrastructure, utilities, manufacturing, energy or industrial environments
- A passion for sustainability and Australia's renewable energy future
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to work effectively within a collaborative site-based team environment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- A commitment to safety, quality and delivering positive project outcomes
- Experience conducting inspections, quality assurance or construction activities will be highly regarded
