The Opportunity
Bureau Veritas is seeking a Civil Project Manager to join our growing Building & Infrastructure team in Sydney. Working across a diverse portfolio of subdivision, utilities and civil infrastructure projects, you will act as the client-side project representative, overseeing project delivery from planning through to completion. This role is ideal for a Project Manager with Superintendency client side or contractor background. You'll enjoy a flexible hybrid working arrangement, a supportive team culture, and the opportunity to work on both established and new development projects that make a lasting impact on local communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the successful delivery of civil infrastructure (roads), subdivision and utilities projects across Sydney.
- Act as the client-side representative, coordinating stakeholders, contractors, consultants and authorities.
- Monitor project scope, budgets, schedules and risks to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Oversee contractor performance, site activities and project compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
- Provide project reporting, progress updates and technical advice to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and project partners throughout the project lifecycle.
About You
- Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, ideally within subdivisions, roads, utilities or land development projects.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent or a Civil Engineer.
- Strong understanding of contractor-led project delivery with the ability to manage projects from a client-side perspective.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship management skills.
- White Card and current Australian Driver's Licence required.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering are advantageous but not essential for candidates with strong practical project delivery experience.
- A confident, proactive and solutions-focused professional with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
