Industrial Hygiene – Team Lead

Title: Industrial Hygiene Team Lead  

Location: Abu Dhabi, Bureau Veritas Technical Center Middle East, Caspian & Africa (MCA) Regional Head Office

Work Type: Mostly office based, with occasional field work (onshore/offshore) + and occasional overseas travel missions

Working Days: 5 Days a Week (Monday to Friday), 9 hours/Day

Employment: Full Time Contract

Years of Experience: Minimum 10 Years of experience with proven track record in leading and executing Industrial Hygiene services across the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical and Energy Sector.

Qualifications: Bachelor or master’s degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene or equivalent degree

Compulsory Requirement: Must be Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH®), or Certified Occupational Hygienist (UK, BOHS)

Key Role & Responsibility:

1. Lead and oversee the IH Business Development across Middle East, Caspian and Africa Region (grow existing IH business, work with our offices across the region to market IH Services, develop new services meeting market/industry needs, build collaboration with specialized partners, client relationship management, etc.)
2. Collaborate with Regional Management in IH Services Tender Management (Technical & Commercial)
3. Lead, mentor & supervise the IH Team execution of projects/services (desktop + onsite field work)
4. Lead OHID Workshop facilitation
5. Act as the Technical Authority overseeing all services technical quality and consistency across all jobs (e.g. review and approve technical reports, exposure assessments, monitoring plans, and risk assessments, etc.)
