This position serves as the technical authority for fugitive emission methodologies, standards, and field practices. The team lead will report to the Environment & Decarbonization Manager for Middle East, Caspian and Africa Region.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead methane/VOC monitoring programs using US EPA Method 21, OGI (NSPS), QOGI, and advanced quantification tools.
  • Oversee site‑level measurement campaigns aligned with OGMP 2.0 methodologies;
  • Select and recommend detection technologies (OGI, Method 21, Hi‑Flow Sampler, TDLAS/LiDAR drones) in accordance with EPA, ISO 14064, and OGMP 2.0 guidance as per client requirements.
  • Lead emissions quantification using approved models (EPA correlation equations, QOGI quantification algorithms, HFS for leak compositions, LiDAR plume analytics).
  • Validate calibration and performance of monitoring equipment per EPA Method 21, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Direct leak detection, tagging, classification, and root‑cause analysis following FEM/LDAR practices and EPA LDAR/FEM protocols.
  • Prepare and approve LDAR/FEM reports, emissions inventories, and OGMP 2.0 Level 4–5 reporting packages.
  • Ensure QA/QC of field data in line with OGMP 2.0 MRV, ISO 14064‑1, and internal quality procedures.
