Job purpose & Scope:

Provision of competent ADNOC Offshore Logistics team (Marine/ HSE) approved marine advisor to act as COMPANY marine representative with experience in offshore works.

  • Principal Responsibilities and Competencies:
  • Witness and monitor marine operations associated with offshore lifts and installation activities.
  • Monitor and resolve installation contractor deviations from the approved marine procedures, quality matters and deviations from approved methodology
  • Advise key personnel within the marine spread on standards of marine equipment, procedures, requirements, etc. in connection with offshore construction operations.
  • Ensure that anchor positions and wire tension are monitored to be within the approved parameters and advise as and when corrective action is needed.
  • Provide technical and practical marine advice to Contractor’s marine key personnel.
  • Verify that all operation and marine related documents comply with ADNOC OFFSHORE standards.
  • Prepare required reports relating to marine services.
  • Participate and assist in management of emergency situations; document and investigate marine related incidents and prepare report including preventive action recommendations
  • Ensure that HSE marine related rules are implemented.
  • Monitor weather forecasts   and navigation warnings to ensure operation within safe parameters defined in the plans and procedures.
  • Contact with COMPANY operations and logistics organizations as needed to discuss marine operational issues and seek marine technical advice.
  • Monitor other marine operations of other contractors and entities involved in COMPANY and other OPCO marine operations whose activities may interfere or impact Project activities.
  • Participate in all JSA's, toolbox and safety meetings regarding marine operations.
  • Capture lessons learned during the installation work.
  • Conduct marine vessel inspections (Marine / HSE) close out when required.
  • All HSE incidents will be reported in a timely manner in accordance with company and project requirements. Continuous communication will also be maintained with MCC and PPA during field entry, operations, and exit to ensure safe and compliant vessel movement.
  • Consultation with ADNOC Offshore Marine Management and Project Management will be carried out as required, providing technical advice and ensuring alignment with project requirements and full awareness of company and project organizational structures
