IVS Manager

1.4. Key Working Relationship

IVS Manager, IVS Technical/Deputy Manager, Principal E & I - Fire and Safety Engineers, Senior MEP Engineers, Principal Rig Auditors, Administrator/Coordinator and Technical Assistance.

2.1. Education

Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical /Electrical and/or any other equivalent.

2.2. Training / Specialty

Shall hold certification in LEEA (Entry Certificate, Lifting Gear General, Lifting Machines Manual, Lifting Machines Power, Runways & Crane Structure) or equivalent with four LEEA Diploma is mandatory, Certification or equivalent i.e. UAE Offshore or Onshore experience is mandatory / Client / GCC client approval, Inspection and testing of all types of lifting equipment for onshore/offshore, Elevators & Escalators, Hazardous Areas Equipment Zone II for IC engines.

2.3. Technical knowledge

Fundamentals of Elevators, Escalators, Lifting Equipment (onshore/offshore) and Hazardous Areas Equipment (Zone II for IC engines).

2.4. Experience

Min. 12 years in inspection and certification of Lifting Equipment.

3.1. Primary Functions

▪  Conduct Inspections and testing as per local standard and

Test and examine cranes, hoists, forklifts, wire ropes, slings, shackles, and lifting beams.

Check compliance with ADNOC codes, UAE regulations, and global safety standards.

Evaluate method statements, risk assessments, and site lifting plans.

Identify defects, note non-conformities, and issue official inspection or certification documents.

Coordinate with site operations, contractors, and health and safety (HSE) teams.

▪  Prepare Reports as per the company standard and BV compliance.

Communicate to their immediate manager any unsafe work practice or       condition and opportunities for improvement of HSE practices.

Comply with Client’s Site specific HSE regulations.

Comply at all times with all applicable legal requirements, BV Group HSE Policies and procedures, client’s HSE procedures and practices.

Maintain personal work areas tidy and hazard free and report any deviation/fault/hazard immediately to the location manager/line manager/supervisor
