Perform functional testing and commissioning of mechanical systems, especially HVAC installations.
- Conduct performance measurements of equipment: airflow rates, temperatures, pressures, velocities, and system balancing.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed technical reports.
- Ensure systems operate according to specifications, local codes, and international standards.
- Participate in joint inspections with stakeholders (client, consultant, authorities).
- Use specialized measurement tools: balometer, anemometer, manometer, etc.
- Coordinate with on-site teams for snagging, NCR closures, and follow-ups.
- Comply with all HSE and quality procedures during commissioning activities.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (AHUs, VAVs, exhaust systems, VRFs, etc.).
- Proficiency in testing, balancing, and measuring HVAC duct and piping systems.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings and system schematics.
- Competence in preparing commissioning and performance reports.
- Familiarity with local codes (e.g., UAE Fire & Life Safety Code) and international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA).
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in HVAC testing and commissioning.
- TAB or HVAC commissioning certification is a plus.
