Role Statement

In this position the person is responsible for the implementation of the strategy plan of the company related to the BU.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

1) Production Management

  • Execute non-destructive testing according Company procedures without reshoots
  • Select, calibrate, or operate equipment used in the non-destructive testing (NDT) of products or materials.
  • Prepare reports on non-destructive testing (NDT) results without mistakes
  • Ensure reports of inspection have been sent to customers at the end of the inspection make sign timesheets of the inspections done by the clients
  • Deliver Inspection on time  
  • Perform equipment maintenance according to company procedures
  • Record all inspection performed on applicable report template in accordance with the company procedures  
  • Set-up, operate, calibrate and perform Process Control Checks on NDT equipment by following established instructions and record results  
  • Maintain work area, equipment, and all documents/records to be always audit ready
  • Provide to back-office assistant empty aerosols and reshoots films after inspection of each request 

 

2) Sales Management

  • Communicate all information that can lead to proposals
  • Propose BV Services according to customers’ needs  
  • Report any need which is not in his/her scope to the sales assistant, BU Manager

 

3) QHSE Management

  • Implement Group QHSE procedures in line with the BU
  • In charge of the inspection and maintenance of the inspection equipment and calibration
  • Follow up company safety procedures and policies during execution of inspections
  • Update the list of equipment and inspection materials

 

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Safety: Follow up and implement QHSE procedures to avoid FAT, LTR, TAR, ASR, Near Hits, First Aids, causes of accidents  
  • Environmental: Contributes in reducing energy, water and paper consumption  
  • Quality: Follow up of customers’ expectations  
  • Prevention: Participate to HSE induction and Group safety campaigns.

 

Background

  • 2 years of technical university or Diploma, HND, BSC, WASSCE  
  • Communication, Tenacity, Listening, Negotiation
