Job Description: Principal Engineer Wind Turbine Testing:
This is a part-time hourly position reporting to the Director of Wind Engineering.
Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
Remote work: This is a fully remote position
Travel: May be required from time to time for field work or conferences (mostly domestic but may include international travel as well)
Job Duties:
- · Lead NA and global PPT methods development, validation, and execution
- · Lead A2LA Accreditation renewals in conjunction with global staff
- · Lead IECRE assessments in conjunction with global staff
- · Lead Measnet application and qualification in conjunction with global staff
- · Lead inter-office quality control efforts with global offices
- · Participate in data analysis and reporting if necessary
- · Review PPT reports for global staff
- · Train international staff on PPT
- · Lead code development for PPT data analysis tools
- · Participation in IEC, Aresca, and other working groups to support standards development
