REQUIREMENTS:
Level 2 NDT certificate required (VT, RT, UT)
More than 10 years of experience in oil and gas projects in welding and NDT
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts equipment inspection and testing on behalf of the client in accordance with the applicable Inspection and Testing Plan until production is completed, for subsequent signing of the Inspection Certificate by the Inspector.
Checks the contractor's NDT laboratory work and radiographic films for each joint for completeness, quality, and actual compliance with the welded joint and NDT conclusions.
Conducts inspections in accordance with the requirements of design and permitting documentation, regulatory documents, and the terms of the Contract, as instructed by the Company in the form of an official letter addressed to the Contractor.
Conducts suitability checks during inspections. Work execution plans, operational and process maps, and the issuance of a corresponding report.
Conducts technical acceptance of completed welding and NDT work and prepares the necessary technical documentation.
Checks the accuracy of calibration records for measuring instruments/devices before inspections and testing. The inspection report includes instrument/device data: serial number, calibrator, calibration certificate number, certificate issue date, etc.
Conducts staged and final inspections at the Supplier's facilities in accordance with the final approved test plan (ITP), including observation of laboratory tests.
Informs the Coordinator/Client of any significant deviations, deficiencies, or deviations (from approved ITP, drawings, codes and standards, etc.) during production activities during the inspection and prepares a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) with the supplier/sub-supplier in accordance with the methods provided by the Client, or opens a non-conformance item in agreement with the Client's Quality Control Department.
Provides the IR along with inspection photographs related to specific ITP stages or specific purchase order requirements and project specifications.
Reviews and approves all applicable documents and as-built drawings (for the given scope of work) prior to final certification/certificate of inspection.
