  Bureau Veritas Azerbaijan is looking for a Quality Control inspector who will manage the technical aspects of inspection activities to ensure that accreditation criteria are met. 

 

Main Duties

  • Inspects test, or measure materials using gauges, calipers, and micrometers, as well as operating electronic inspection equipment to ensure that all necessary procedures and products are inspected to a high standard.
  • Monitors inspection operations to ensure conformance to company specifications
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests and witnessing functional tests.
  • Reads blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
  • Creates reports for the clients and reporting manager of the company to highlight issues
  • Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.

Requirements:

 

  • Experience in Well Equipment (drilling and completion) is an advantage.
  • NDT Conventional techniques knowledge, Weld visual inspection is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or equivalent and field background preferably min 5 years
  • Experience in products conformance testing, pressure testing, vendor surveillance is advantage.
  • Good command of English
  • Good communication skills
