The Junior HR Specialist will support the Human Resources department in recruitment, training and development, payroll administration, and HR operations. This position is ideal for an HR professional seeking to develop expertise across multiple HR functions while contributing to the efficient delivery of HR services.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in posting vacancies on recruitment platforms and social media.
- Screen applications and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain candidate databases and recruitment records.
- Prepare offer letters and onboarding documentation.
- Support new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
Training & Development
- Coordinate internal and external training sessions.
- Maintain training records and employee training matrices.
- Assist in identifying training needs and tracking employee development plans.
- Collect training feedback and prepare training reports.
- Support employee engagement and development initiatives.
Payroll Administration
- Collect and verify payroll-related information, including attendance, overtime, leave records, and allowances.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll data.
- Maintain payroll records and employee files.
- Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding payroll and leave balances.
- Ensure payroll documentation is accurate and complete.
HR Administration
- Maintain employee personnel files and HR databases.
- Prepare employment certificates, letters, and other HR documents.
- Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor legislation.
- Assist with HR reporting and administrative projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in HR or payroll administration is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internships may also be considered.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of recruitment and payroll processes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with HRIS systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Azerbaijani: Fluent
- English: Good working proficiency
