Bureau Veritas is looking for an

ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORY SAMPLE RECEIVER

This is a Full-Time position with Medical Benefits and Retirement Savings Plan

Responsibilities

The Sample Receiver will be responsible for:

• Receiving environmental samples from clients and couriers
• Unpacking, inspecting, and meticulously labeling samples
• Following strict Standard Operating Procedures
• Logging samples into Laboratory Information Management System
• Distributing samples to appropriate lab departments
• Assisting with sample archiving
• Performing other related duties as required

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education (B.Sc. preferred)
• Knowledge of standard operating procedures and instrumental techniques
• Excellent time-management and communication skills
• Ability to:
• Multitask and set priorities effectively
• Perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy
• Work under busy and stressful conditions
• Maintain high productivity in a fast-paced laboratory environment
