Sample Login Technician 2

As a Sample Login Technician 2, your main responsibilities are as below:
- Ensure accurate entry of sample information into computer database efficiently and accurately
- Ensure client samples are entered into LIMS and approved in a timely manner according to sample holding time, test code, due date and / or received date
- Assist with the coordination of workload, training of Sample Receiving staff, and perform the various tasks associated with general sample administration in support of a client or Project Manager request
- Complete all sample administration processes to accurately label and distribute samples and properly communicate with both operations and client service groups when faced with any issues/special requirements
- Adhere to Bureau Veritas’ quality systems QA/QC procedures, SOPs and external accreditation requirements
- Adhere to Bureau Veritas’ safety policies
- Ensure “Good Housekeeping” standards are met or exceeded
- Provide support to other related departments or areas as required (i.e. Sample Receiving, Sample Inspection, Sample Entry, Bottle Prep etc.)
- All other responsibilities as assigned
You are the ideal Service Centre Customer Service Representative, if you have:
- College Diploma in Sciences, preferably chemistry or environmental related and /or have equivalent experience
- Experience in a customer service and/or laboratory environment is considered an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong customer service attitude and commitment to providing exception customer service and quality results
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently with minimal supervision
- Attentiveness to detail and ability to manage a diverse workload within a fast-paced environment with changing multiple priorities and frequent interruptions
- Strong prioritization skills
- Effective time management, decision making, excellent listening, problem solving, planning and organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills; Good command of English.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Energetic and keen with a positive attitude, who thrives in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking, prioritizing and adapting to changes as required
- You are ethical, dynamic, motivated and results oriented
- Availability for shift work, OT and weekend work required
