Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer : 

At least 5 years’ experience in Mechanical design and site inspection.

Minimum required qualifications :

• Design Review and Site Inspection for buildings mechanical systems such as HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Smoke Venting.
• Conversant in International Codes
• Good technical reporting skills in English language

Technical Knowledge :

The Mechanical engineer will have enough experience in the buildings’ mechanical systems design and capable of evaluating the design of the following:

HVAC, Firefighting, Smoke Control System, Plumbing, Water treatment system, LPG Systems.

As a guidance for his mission, he shall be able to advise on the following:

• Technical Specifications.
• Calculation notes
• Design and Construction drawings
• BOQ
• Materials Submittals

The engineer shall perform various design reviews and technical inspections and control services pertaining to his field of competencies.

The engineer shall carry out within the frame of conformity assessment services, technical inspection, due diligence, design review, etc.

The most common mission of the engineer currently being design appraisal and technical site inspection and Prepare Technical Reports.

Business Requirements :

• Maintains a high degree of  expertise through permanent specialised training and knowledge management.

• Participate in products development and dissemination in his field(s) of expertise.
•  
• Participates in Knowledge Management

o Scope of work

o Planning
