• Minimum HND / HNC / National Diploma in
Mechanical Engineering or related technical
discipline, or CLIENT-approved equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas
industry, including at least 3 years in piping
design, isometric interpretation, and
technical drafting/data preparation.
• Evidence of completed training in, MS Excel,
MS Word, MS PowerPoint, CAD Drafting
• Awareness of standard NDT methods,
inspection terminology, and technical
documentation workflows.
• Strong knowledge of piping drafting
standards, isometric drawing interpretation,
and PEFD/PEFS construction.
• Skilled in preparing, reviewing, and updating
technical documents, drawings, and as-built
information for inspection activities.
• Competent in CAD software, data entry
systems, digital platforms, and database
interfaces.
• Strong computer literacy with experience in
technical documentation, numbering
systems, revision control, and inspection data
administration.
• Able to communicate in fluent English (oral
and written) and coordinate effectively with
engineers, inspectors, and planners.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of
maintaining accurate inspection records in
compliance with COMPANY requirements.
• Complies with BSP Ethics & Compliance and
all COMPANY governance requirements.
- Incident and accident investigation and root cause analysis
- Internal HSSE auditing and Lead Auditor certification (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
- Proficiency in BSP Work Management Procedures (WMP) and HSSE requirements
- Technical safety training (Confined Space Entry, OPITO H2S, BOSIET)
- HSSE management system training and implementation
- Delivery of QHSSE briefings and technical training sessions
- Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and statistics
- Knowledge of Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgy, or Materials Engineering principles
