Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum GCE O-Level, National Diploma, or equivalent; a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or Metallurgy Engineering is preferred.
  • Certified IRATA Level III Rope Access Supervisor with at least 2 years of rope access experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Certified ASNT Level II in UT (thickness & weld), MT, PT, VT, and ET; ASNT Level II in RT is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
  • Awareness of Advanced NDT techniques such as PAUT, TOFD, LRUT, or PEC.
  • Valid Permit to Work (PTW) Holder and trained in coating/painting inspection awareness.
  • Completed all mandatory offshore safety training, including BOSIET, OPITO H₂S, and COMPANY-required HSSE courses.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the Petrochemical or Oil & Gas industry, with at least 5 years in inspection/NDT work on topside static equipment.
  • Strong experience in rope access operations, including rigging, rescue planning, safe access, and supervision of Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.
  • Knowledgeable in BSP Work Management Procedures (WMP), PTW system, SIMOPS, and offshore safety rules.
  • Skilled in using electronic tablets, digital reporting tools, UT gauges, flaw detectors, and other portable inspection instruments.
  • Medically fit for offshore work and capable of safely performing rope access tasks at height.
  • Able to work onshore and offshore based on COMPANY operational requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Office and digital systems, with the ability to produce simple inspection or operational reports.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written) with strong communication and team coordination skills.
  • Fully compliant with BSP Ethics & Compliance and all regulatory requirements.
