Principal Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Formulate policies and procedures and programs to enhance employee engagement, performance and retention as and when required.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth operations covering all HR functions including:
    • Compensation & Benefits
    • Talent Management & Sucession Planning
    • Training & Development
    • Employee Relations & Disciplinary Action
    • Compliance with Laws &Regulations
  • Manage the implementation of the group performance appraisal systems and processes at the local level on Successfactor. This includes providing guidance and training for managers and employees in setting performance goals / KPIs (both performance and development objectives) and conducting performance reviews.
  • Identifying training needs and developing training programs to address skill gaps and enhance employee performance and development.
  • Manage the Learning Management System at the local level. Design and coordinate training sessions, webinars, online courses, and workshops to foster continuous learning and development, both internally and externally.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews and bonuses and incentives.
  • Conduct market research to ensure competitiveness in compensation and benefits offering.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and address inquiries related to compensation and benefits.
  • Overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and candidate sourcing, conducting interviews to onboarding. Also responsible for developing talent pipelines.
  • Handling employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary action, and grievance handling.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws, regulations and company policies to mitigate legal risks.
  • Update and maintain employee personal data, performance records, annual leave records and insurance information with utmost accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Promote a positive work culture and foster strong employee morale and satisfaction.
  • Perform HR transactional tasks such as data entry, correspondence, record-keeping, report generation, and filing to maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records.
  • Preparation of payroll, bonuses and increments while ensuring compliance with HR policies and confidentiality standards.
  • Overseeing HR administrative functions, including data management, recordkeeping, and documentation. Ensuring accuracy and integrity of HR data and information systems.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field;
  • Proven experience as a HR generalist, specialist, preferably 3-5 years. 
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations, work permit and visa processes. Working experience in handling work permits and visas is an advantage;
  • Has an in depth knowledge of HR principles, practices and procedures;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Able to handle confidential information with integrity;
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite. Proficient or experience with Successfactor is an advantage;
  • Certification in CIPD, SHRM-CP or PHR is an advantage.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication in Malay and English language. Proficiency in the Chinese language is an advantage.
