• CISRS certification.
• Scaffolding erection, alteration, and dismantling
• Compliance with health and safety regulations (HS\&E)
• Knowledge of tube and fitting or system scaffolding
• Scaffold inspection and handover procedures
• Interpretation of scaffolding designs and industry standards (TG20)
• Risk assessment and management of working at height
• Use of fall prevention equipment
• Safe manual handling and site logistics

To obtain CISRS certification, the following experience is required:  

- Scaffolder (Blue Card): Minimum 12 months of site experience (6 months after completing Part 1 and a further 6 months after Part 2)
- Advanced Scaffolder (Gold Card): Hold a Scaffolder (Blue Card) for at least 12 months and complete 6 months of further site experience
- Scaffold Inspection (SITS): Prior awareness and experience of scaffolding structures within a relevant industry sector
- Basic Skills Test: Minimum 6 months of scaffold experience following the completion of Part 1 and Part 2 courses
