Location: Buffalo
Hours Worked: Typically, Monday through Friday, 40 per week.
However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned.
Position Summary:
Serve as administrative data consolidation for all labs.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Major Roles & Responsibilities:
• Scan all results/blue labels into BVLab
• Consolidate and file all results/blue labels from each lab for individual submissions.
• Distribute packet when all labels are scanned.
• Track and monitor missing results/blue labels for each submission
• Prioritize according to the overdue lists found in the Buffalo G52 and OS summary sent daily.
• Take inventory every Friday to correct misfiles, and submissions that are already logged out in BVLab.
• Train back-ups and new employees.
• Write and update Administrative Procedures for the department
• Provide feedback to manager/supervisor regarding departmental systems, processes and recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide administrative support to the Buffalo Operations Management Team when needed
• Provide backup support to Customer Support Services, including training, invoicing, report generation, sample control and mailroom functions
• Act as internal customer service / communication liaison for Buffalo Campus by providing proactive information and knowledge sharing
• Adhere to the requirements of the BV-CPS Quality System and assist with the implementation and maintenance of the department quality system
• Follow the guidelines set forth in the Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Comply with Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc. management systems in accordance with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
Required Skills & Proficiencies:

Education and Experience:
• High School diploma plus 2 years’ experience in a business environment; or
• 2 year degree in related field with no experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.
Compensation Range:
$18-$19 an hour (e.g., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as locations, education, experience, and skillset).
