Are you attracted to building the semantic foundation that will power trusted AI at enterprise scale?

Join our team! Working autonomously on varied projects, you will develop your expertise in a stimulating and supportive environment.

YOUR EVERYDAY EXPERIENCE IF YOU JOIN US

As part of Bureau Veritas's Global AI & Data Transformation initiative, we are recruiting for our Bureau Veritas Digital division an AI Context Fabric & Semantic Platform Leader (F-M-D) on a permanent contract.

Reporting to the AI & Data Senior Vice President, you will join a team based in our Paris Head Quarters.

You will work closely with our operational teams and our clients within the framework of enterprise-wide AI enablement and data transformation across Bureau Veritas's global operations.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

Your mission is to define, build, and scale the AI Context Fabric & Semantic Platform as the enterprise layer that gives Bureau Veritas a shared, governed, machine-readable understanding of its business concepts, data, documents, and operating context, ensuring trusted AI, analytics, and cross-domain business journeys while preserving confidentiality, impartiality, and the defensibility of human attestation. Your role is essential to connecting fragmented knowledge across the enterprise and enabling AI-driven operations at scale.

You will:

• Identify priority business journeys, define and evolve the target architecture, and establish the semantic modelling, integration, and delivery approach for the platform

• Define and evolve the ontology, knowledge graph, and interoperability standards that allow AI agents, copilots, analytics, and business applications to interpret Bureau Veritas concepts consistently across systems, documents, and domains

• Deliver the fabric as governed, reusable data products with clear ownership, contracts, lineage, and quality expectations, pulled into existence by priority journeys so master data emerges from products that demonstrate measurable value

• Define the approach for business-critical data and knowledge that no enterprise system manages today, including documents, files, SharePoint content, shared drives, spreadsheets, and local repositories, bringing this knowledge under governed access, structure, metadata, and lineage so AI agents and analytics can reference it defensibly

• Ensure the platform improves the reliability, relevance, and reuse of copilots, agents, analytics, and cross-domain reasoning, with impact validated through measurable business outcomes

• Embed data rights, segregation, confidentiality, and impartiality controls as first-class platform capabilities, co-owning with the CISO and Data Protection Officer the principles and controls governing how data may and may not be used

• Partner with Enterprise Architecture to ensure the fabric fits into the broader technology landscape and supports rationalization by reducing duplicate data stores, inconsistent definitions, and fragmented integrations behind governed, reusable data products on a shared semantic layer

THE SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT

Enterprise semantic architecture and ontology design — Enables you to create the knowledge graph and semantic models that give AI agents, copilots, and analytics a consistent understanding of Bureau Veritas's business concepts across all systems and domains.

Data integration and platform engineering across cloud-native environments — Allows you to architect scalable integration patterns that connect AWS-hosted systems, SaaS applications, and unstructured knowledge sources into a unified, governed semantic layer.

Data governance, lineage, and metadata management — Ensures you can deliver reusable data products with clear ownership, contracts, quality expectations, and full traceability that meet regulatory and confidentiality requirements.

Graph databases, knowledge graphs, and semantic web technologies — Provides the technical foundation to model complex business relationships, enable cross-domain reasoning, and support AI-driven insights at enterprise scale.

Confidentiality, access control, and data rights management in sensitive environments — Helps you embed impartiality controls, data segregation, and defensible access patterns as first-class platform capabilities from the start.

Stakeholder alignment and value-driven delivery in complex organizations — Allows you to influence senior leadership, align global and local teams, and build adoption through measurable business outcomes rather than top-down mandates.

AWS architecture, distributed systems, and SaaS integration patterns — Ensures your platform designs fit seamlessly into Bureau Veritas's technology landscape and support future rationalization and modernization efforts.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

You hold a degree in Computer science, Data engineering, Information systems, or a related field from an engineering or technology school.

You have minimum 10 years' experience in data platforms, architecture, semantic technologies, distributed systems, or enterprise-scale digital platforms, with proven delivery under ambiguity and across complex stakeholder environments.
