As part of Bureau Veritas's strategic digital transformation initiative, we are recruiting for our Bureau Veritas Industrials and Commodities Product Lines a Commodities Digital Product Portfolio Lead (F-M-D) on a permanent contract.

Reporting to Laurent, Industrials & Commodities Product Management Senior Vice-President, you will join a dynamic and multicultural team that drives innovative, high-impact projects for our organization and clients worldwide, based in Paris (flexible, with regular travel to Head Office if located elsewhere).

You will work closely with our operational teams and our clients within the framework of leading digital transformation across our Commodities businesses, including inspection and testing of Metals, Minerals and Agriculture commodities.

 

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

 

Your mission is to drive the digital transformation of our Commodities businesses and develop digital products and solutions to optimize efficiency and quality throughout our operations, ensuring a superior client experience.

Your role is essential to embedding innovation and leveraging data, AI and new technologies into our internal processes and client collaboration.

 

You will:

 

• Define the vision and roadmap for Commodities digital products and solutions, aligned with Commodities strategy, business stakeholders and end-users expectations

• Ensure the alignment, endorsement and engagement of Commodities business leadership and report them programs progress and digital products performance

• Implement and lead a governance to capture business expectations (BV and clients) and steer the execution into digital products and solutions

• Consolidate and formalize business requirements and specifications, organize business acceptance testing, define deployment plans

• Embed innovation, leveraging data, AI and new technologies, into our internal processes and collaboration with clients

• Define and execute value-based roadmap for digital products and solutions continuous improvement

• Contribute to the definition of new services, data or digitally enabled, for the Commodities product lines

• Monitor and optimize the adoption of Commodities digital products and solutions

• Identify potential synergies with other Industrials and Commodities businesses

 

THE SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT

 

Experience in implementing and leading governance between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams — Enables you to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring alignment and successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives.

Experience in managing process optimization including labs processes — Allows you to identify efficiency opportunities and streamline testing workflows, directly improving operational performance and client service delivery.

Experience in leveraging digital innovation and technologies for business improvements, including labs processes — Helps you embed cutting-edge solutions such as AI and data analytics into our operations, creating competitive advantages and enhanced value for clients.

Strong leadership — Ensures you can drive strategic initiatives, inspire cross-functional teams, and secure stakeholder buy-in for digital transformation programs.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams — Enables you to work effectively across diverse departments and geographies, essential for implementing solutions that impact multiple business units.

End-user and customer centric approach — Allows you to design digital products and solutions that truly address client needs and enhance user experience, maximizing adoption and satisfaction.

Initiative — Helps you proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, driving continuous enhancement of our digital product portfolio.

Excellent proficiency in English — Allows you to communicate effectively with our international network, teams, and clients across 140 countries, ensuring seamless global collaboration.

 

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

 

You hold a degree from an engineering or business school.

 You have at least 15 years of experience leading digital transformation programs, including laboratories testing processes preferably in the commodities business, ideally with a strong interest in process optimization and digital innovation.
